Mission: To provide underserved children with opportunities to explore and pursue STEM careers.
Vision: Students Learning to Lead partners with schools, community based organizations, and companies to bring STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) enrichment opportunities to underserved children that will allow them to build their social and emotional skills.
Students Learning to Lead, Inc. (SL2Lead) is a New York based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to provide STEM programs with ART, or STEAM. SL2Lead runs after school and Saturday STEAM enrichment opportunities to under-served elementary and middle school students.
SL2Lead partners with community-based organizations and schools that provide after-school care to deliver enrichment programs at their facilities.
To inspire minorities and girls to pursue STEM-related careers through hands-on STEAM enrichment activities.
Bronx: Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, and Marble Hill.
Manhattan: Inwood, and Washington Heights.
